Jn 15:5. Tony van Drimmelen. Jesus’ allegory of the vine and the branches brings our relationship with Him into sharp focus.  How do His disciples survive and thrive in the world today?  How do we keep fellowship with God?  Remaining in Christ ensures our health and vitality as Christians, just as a good branch remains attached to the vine and produces fruit.  Without remaining in the vine, “we can do nothing.”  We look at what it means to remain in Christ.  It should come as no surprise that remaining involves a quiet time, spending time in the Word, meditation and prayer.
